I was employed at Hibbett | City Gear for a few years from 2017-2020. My responsibilities included:
Daily create content to be used in all stores throughout the chain for seasonal sales, daily promotions, email marketing campaigns, for the Hibbett | City Gear website, and social media accounts for all City Gear stores.
Update documents with information for all stores to receive the correct content for their particular store.
Brought a modern look to all signage, while instilling the necessity to stay current with advertising.
Stay on top of constant store changes to make sure all stores received signage and marketing materials on time.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
Some of the work that I’ve created to generate engagement for upcoming releases, in-store events, and reminders for the shoes and apparel that are still in stores for customers to grab!
Lenox Square Mall Barricade
A recent barricade I designed for our store in the Lenox Square Mall located in Atlanta, GA. Though the store was still open for business, its purpose was to keep some things under wraps while new construction was being done. This barricade stood 16’ high and stretched 38’ wide. Yea, we made a big statement with this one.
Puma Mats
We partnered with Puma to put these table mats in our Puma sections to amplify the in-store presence for Puma in stores. The mats are displayed on the tables, underneath the merchandise. I made the animation for promotional purposes on social media.
Biloxi Black Beach
We wanted to create an in-store denim pop up shop in our stores in Biloxi, MS and Mobile, AL for the Biloxi Black Beach events during Spring Break in 2019.

We created a space & experience that supports the new women’s sections in our stores.
I designed the 2 posters below along with 7”x11” table signs to match.
CG-TV
CG-TV is the YouTube channel for City Gear. From in-store events, to sneak peeks of shoes, to sneaker conventions, it all gets covered there. I had the pleasure of doing the logo and some animations for it.

Cutz 4 Kidz
Cutz for Kidz is a Back to School initiative that allows up to 300 elementary- or secondary-aged children (per location) a free haircut from a local barber inside a City Gear location. The kids also received backpacks with school supplies to get their school year started.
We picked 12 stores throughout the company to host the Cutz for Kidz events, celebrating the Back-to-School season by having the kids in the neighborhood get fresh at City Gear. We asked for local safety and law enforcement agencies to participate. And there also were picnics and live DJs to complete the experiences.
This event drew parents and kids into the stores during prime back to school shopping weekends. This was also a momentous occasion to create a bond between City Gear, our brands, and our customers in the area.
I created the flyers, social media graphics, and posters all 12 of these events. Pictured below is for the Kansas City event.
National Sales Meeting
(NSM) is a week-long event that City Gear hosts for its managers and corporate employees. At this event, we receive lectures about certain things within the company, have competitions, and of course party! This event is one way to connect the field and in-store with their corporate colleagues. Primarily to put faces behind the operations and business that goes unheard of or unseen.
In the Marketing department, we are responsible for all of the visual and branding assets for the overall event and the activities that take place throughout the week.
